I am a Sofia-based scriptwriter, producer and script consultant, known for my collaboration with filmmakers Petar Valchanov and Kristina Grozeva. I co-wrote and played a small screen part in their award-winning second feature Glory (2016), co-wrote and 1st assistant-directed their third feature The Father (2019), winner of the Karlovy Vary Crystal Globe, and developed, co-wrote and executive-produced their fourth feature Triumph (world premiere at TIFF 2024). I was also the head writer on Blue Birds Island (2019), a limited children series for the Bulgarian National Television. With the English-language story-driven sci-fi adventure game Elea (2018), developed by Bulgarian indie studio Kyodai and available on all gaming platforms, I've ventured out into video game territory.
I have a BA in Dramaturgy from the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, and am a 4Corners, MIDPOINT, Talents Sarajevo and Berlinale Talents alumnus. Since 2021 I am an active EACEA (MEDIA) external expert. Together with director Kamen Kolarov I am the founder and managing partner of production company Dystopia Films.
