The Zoo is located in a vast picturesque area of ​​the park„Metodiy Kusev Metropolitan“ and is among the most visited and attractive sites in the city. It is the first Zoo outside the capital, established in 1957 and today it is a haven for over 400 animals of over 80 species – mammals, birds, amphibians. It is a suitable place for training and education of grown-ups, as well as developing their love of nature.
