Hi my name is Martin Petrov. When someone ask me what do you do - my answer is simple - “Making the world more colourful”. I’m a Senior colorist based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I start professional as colorist till Covid when the best of USA colorists start to make online videos courses. I get a lot of courses by Dado Valentic, Walter Volpatto and many others.
I have my own studio, with calibrated 18% gray walls, CRI accurate color lighting in it and calibrated 42’ reference monitor. I work on Davinci Resolve Srudio. I also make a custom LUT’s and Looks for each project that I work on. That mean your Look will be unique! Didn’ t use the basic Looks and Luts as many my colleagues out there! Please check my latest works.

Experience & skills

Education: I have bachelor degree from New Bulgarian University - Film and Tv Director. Before that I have done Art College in Sofia with diploma as Film And Tv Director and Video Editor.
Special skills: I work on Davinci Resolve Studio. I also make a custom LUT’s and Looks for each project that I work on. That mean your Look will be unique! Didn’ t use the basic Looks and Luts as many my colleagues out there.
Own equipment: I have my own studio, with calibrated 18% gray walls, CRI accurate color lighting in it and calibrated 42’ reference monitor. I work on Davinci Resolve with Davinci Resolve Mini Panel, Elgado Stream Deck, 2 GUI monitors and 1 Calibrated Reference Monitor. I also have a Qnap Nas Server with 80tb of space.
